Martin holds BA (Hons) Interior Design in 1996 from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, MA Landscape & Urbanism in 2005 from Kingston University, UK. Prior setting up HOT KONCEPTS, he worked as Design Director (PRC), Associate Director for CL3 Architects Ltd, Steve Leung Designers Ltd. Projects he designed have received many awards, such as Media Nation Shanghai Head Office - Asia Pacific Interior Design Award 2002 - winner, corporate category; The American Institute of Architects, Hong Kong Chapter - Merit Award for Interiors 2001. Vanke Showflat at Changsha - "2012 Philips Sense and simipility"Gold award. Other projects like Top Result Beijing Office, Techpacific HK office, Greenland show-flat are also received AIA , HKDA awards etc. Moreover, he has strong working experience in China - Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Shanghai, and Beijing etc. In order to extend design knowledge, he further studied in London, and received commendation result - distinction for dissertation. Demonstration Office
It is demonstration office for the developer. Designer proposed the theme of Mango advertising company for the project. As the potential clients of the unit to be young and energetic. Besides, yellow (13-0647) and grey (17-5104) are the Pantone colors of 2021. Designer cleverly used this color combination in the project to match the update market.

Office Lobby
Office is not only the space for working, it should also be the place for idea exchanges. Social Corporate is an office lobby in Ningbo, China. Plants, fresh air, and nature are all common elements during the special 2022 stay-at-home period. Everyone needs a green and relaxed environment during working days. The lobby area is not only for passing through, the designer proposed the area to stay and enjoy. Therefore there are artworks, books shelves, and cozy seating areas in the space.

Shop Design
It is the first shop for Villeroy and Boch home services (VB Home) in China. The shop is located in renovation area, it was a factory before. Designer proposed the theme "Home sweet home" to the interiors based on the application of VB products and European lifestyle. Designer spend much time on understanding the history and different types of VB products. After the discussion with the client, finally all agreed the theme "Home sweet home" for the interior design.

The project is accessories design for an office lobby in Shanghai, China. Plants, fresh air and nature are all common elements during this special 2020 stay-at-home period. Actually, we all need green and relax environment during our every working days. Designer especially proposed "Urban Oasis" idea to this office lobby. People work here world pass through, stay or even work in this common space anytime.
