Born in Tokyo. After studying abroad in the U.S. and graduating from Musashino Art Junior College of Art and Design, worked as an interior coordinator for an Italian furniture brand. After working as an interior stylist for advertisements, established a private design firm in 1985. In addition to interior design of golf clubhouses, she also handles product design, from stationery to storage furniture. Also been involved in the branding of the sales floors of the lifestyle goods store "LOFT" and the interior store "AGITO", among others.
